This was my entry into a CG Boost Challenge some time ago. My first entry ever. Made entirely in Blender. No prize won :-)
The FINAL render
The very beginning ...
Sidetracked for a moment... I couldn't resist. :-)
It's starting to take shape.
Close-up of the teeth.
Still with the mirrored hand for now, but I'll fix that later.
Testing the composition...
Start sculpting the hapless knight.
He's starting to take shape.
A knight without clothes is not a pretty sight. So I'm working on that.
I'm trying out an effect...
I'll have to take less screenshots in the future. I don't really know why I do that...
Now I use the body of the knight as the basis for the sculpt of the princess.
Thanks to the smooth brush the princess will soon appear.
Although! There is still a lot of work to do! :-)
She is clearly very upset! She's actually panicking.
The princess is given a robe and jewels...
... and some hair and a crown too.
Then she can finally appear on the scene. Although not in the best situation.
A 'holdout' of everything and everyone except the knight and the princess. They must be transparent.
Now I'm bringing everything together. I have yet to start the magic book and there is already a shortage of time! So submitted anyway!
Worked further on it later. The magic book still need some more work.
Almost finished. Trying to improve a few things. The end is near... A tough but interesting experience for someone who has just started seriously in 3D, like me.
